Please join us for this special Hip-Hop class taught by none other than Jonathan Lee to help DSPAC raise funds for our center. 100% of the proceeds from this class are being donated to provide scholarships and programs for well deserving young dancers who cannot necessarily afford the cost of tuition but are worthy of unique opportunities to be taught by exemplary masters in the field of dance.

This class introduces the hip-hop culture through the element of dance. Each class incorporates the fundamentals of Hip Hop including funk styles and B-boying and fuses it with his freestyle form. Beginning with a warm up that stretches and tones the body, concluding with a fun and energetic combination that is broken down for all levels to learn.

Please wear comfortable clothes to move in and sneakers.

His Film/TV credits include Fish, Chapelle’s Show, Good Morning America, ABC News Now, The View, and Guiding Light. Theatre credits include Once On This Island, The Wiz, West Side Story, The King & I, and Miss Saigon. He has choreographed and performed with networks such as Disney, MTV, Nickelodeon, and VH1 as well as soft drink giants Coca-Cola and Pepsi . Jonathan has also been seen or heard in several commercials, recordings, and print ads for Verizon Wireless, NIKE, Optimum Online, Texas Instruments, Wendy’s and WeeBee Tunes.  Recently Jonathan has been featured in Time Out NY, Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit Magazine, and Dance Teacher Magazine.
